I heard about Index Fencing from my neighbor, and after I saw how nice their fence looked I contacted them they where very polite and made sure I got exactly what I wanted overall they did a great job glad I went with them definitely recommend!

Let me tell yall indexfence inc were just sooooooo grate…They were right on time and vary kind guys that came to put in my new fence.. It didn’t take as long as i thought it would and i could not be happier with our results… and my dogs just love being able to go outside and play in the backyard yard agin.. the workers did grate work and cleaned up after themselves… which was very nice because the last company that did work on our fence did not… could not recommend this place more

A few months ago, Index Fencing replaced three sides of our backyard fence and built two gates. They are all still sturdy, holding up to children climbing up on them without permission and our dog exuberantly chasing squirrels with a sudden end to her mission. Our only complaint would be the gate on a slight hill that closes up up the hill, causing a required pull to align the lock with the lock opening that our 7 year old daughter cannot manage alone, but gravity bows to no one and I'm sure was an unforeseen event.

I used Index Fence back during 2020 to install a fence in my backyard mainly to contain my 2 dogs. I was very pleased with the job they did those years ago-- particularly during the middle of the COVID pandemic-- to work with me on arriving at a design that I liked and a price that fit my budget. More recently, after Tropical Storm Debby, I had a very large pecan tree fall onto the fence (and the neighbor's fence as well!) and needed the fence repaired. Following the tree removal, Camden and his crew were great to come by and fix the fence for me-- it looks good as new and didn't take long at all. I am particularly impressed by the attention to detail that they pay to make sure everything is right and that the client is happy. Two thumbs up!

Index fencing installed my 6ft wood fence approximately 2 years ago and the gate got caught in a wind storm and wasn’t shutting correctly anymore. They came out and repaired the gate in a timely manner free of charge. I highly recommend Index fencing they stand behind their work. Smithfield

My experience with index fence is overall ambivalent but leans negative. Index was on par with two other quotes we received, as such price was not a consideration. That said, I wonder if materials from the other contractors would have been better.From initial consult to communications with the office, I give 4-5 stars. It’s always prompt and professional, my poor rating is quality of the actual build and materials.On initial quote we were told the planks come prefinished from the factory and wouldn’t need treatment for 1-2 years, but within 6 months we had significant warping and cracking on a large portion of boards and several posts leaning. We were told it was because we didn’t treat with any stain or sealant.Index came out and replaced everything that was warped and leaning, however it took 4 months and 3 visits from initial inquiry to final repair, delaying when we could then stain and seal everything. There are already several *newly replaced* boards warping and cracking so I have significant doubts that this fence will last even 5 years.As for the build, the gates are always sagging (I’ve never seen an ‘A’ brace on a gate before and am not confident it offers the counter balance a cross brace does). There are random 2x4s attached to some posts, the gate construction doesn’t look professional with random fill and trim pieces, some boards are spaced inconsistently and do not maintain a straight line. Maybe it was just not the right material for a horizontal fence.Overall I appreciate their service and willingness to come back (materials and construction are under warranty) but I really wasn’t expecting to have to, let alone multiple times in the span of the first year.

Alex was extremely helpful during our initial consultation and provided great knowledge and recommendations. The fencing materials/options offered by Index Fence were nearly an identical match to those already within our neighborhood, which was a critical component for approval from our HOA. Camden and Behzad were very responsive and never left me wondering what the next steps were. Installation was completed in just two half days of work - couldn't be happier with our new fence and my experience with Index Fence from start to finish. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fencing contractor.

Wanted to add a 10 foot gate to a fence they did for me a few years back. Came back with a ridiculous high price. Just really disappointed as a returning customer. I’m all about paying a fair price for work, but I feel like they are taking advantage. Very unfortunate because I was looking forward to working with this company again.

It looks fabulous, very high quality. Appreciate them offering to come back if anything were to happen with the fence as well. Highly recommend.

Working with Miguel is easy and always entertaining as he is a great guy and does a great job.

For a straightforward fence installation with no easements or other considerations, Index Fence is a great company. Our fence installation had HOA complexities and easements and took over a year working with Index Fence to complete the project. Oftentimes with myself as the homeowner educating and coordinating the process, where I would expect the opposite. This included a portion of the fence needing to be moved after initial installation, at additional cost, as it was initially built over an easement.

Dishonest company. Owner openly broke contract, see other review. I spoke with the owner 20 days before he terminated contract and said they were doing the best they had done in years, wanted to hold off advertising because he had to fire two other employees. Clearly not a good business owner or operator, he can't even remember what he wants.

There was some slight miscommunication, but that was on my end and even so, they didn't charge me for redoing some of the work to my unspoken expectations. If you deviate from a general fence, just be sure to be precise in the language you use and provide lots of examples on similar terrain. These folks were great and I'd absolutely use them again.

The whole process was a great experience. Very professional and they were able to get things up quick without losing quality. Highly recommend!

Miguel aka El Presidente and his entire team are awesome. From estimate to finish and aftercare. YES! AFTERCARE! And the pricing was phenomenal. We contacted several fencing companies in the triangle, and Index fence just felt the most genuine. They sent a guy out to my house within one week of calling them, and he was very knowledgeable and took his time and explained everything to us. The installers came after that And put up our 6 foot tall wooden privacy fence and just one day!!!! Money well spent!!!

I agree with several reviewers.. if I could give more stars I would. Scheduling the appointment was easy. Working with Cameron was easy. He was so patient with me with the timing of everything since there were a few HOA restrictions to figure out and get approved, etc. I was able to schedule the installation on the day and time that worked for my schedule. The crew that did the installation were efficient, easy to communicate with, and kept everything tidy. They cleaned up quickly when the job was done. The quality of the cedar fence, the style, and the solid stability is nothing like I've ever had in previous homes. The double gate is so solid and I'm sure will never sag or shift like we've had happen in previous gates. Later when we got estimates to stain our fence from several paint companies, we were advised to have several splitting boards replaced before staining, and Cameron was able to fit the repair in between jobs in a timely manner. The same crew came out, and was so efficient that after their inspection they found a few other boards that started to split that I didn't notice, and they replaced them too. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality and workmanship of the fence. Thank you Cameron, awesome crew, and Index! P.S. After getting multiple quotes to fence in our backyard, we decided to choose Index Fence for the project. In addition to having great online reviews, their quoted price and communication were both fantastic. Jason and his team were able to complete about 600 feet of fence in 2 days and we couldn’t be happier with the result. They were able to accommodate our request for a mixed Woden privacy/wire fence and the finished product looks amazing. From start to finish, the whole process of working with them was so easy and I would 100% recommend them to anyone I know.

My experience with Index Fence has been great. My sales rep, Jason, was also available whenever I need to ask a question and always provided a solution. After the installation one of my gates wasn't shutting on it's on like it was supposed to for the pool inspection and Jason took it upon himself to come out and try to fix it. While he gave it his best effort additional work needed to be done and he had his team come out the next day to correct. He told me at the beginning of the sale that their work wasn't done until I was completely satisfied. A lot of companies say that, but Jason and team really held up to those standards. I would recommend anyone needing a fence that wants a high quality product with great service before and after the installation to look no further.

Extremely smooth experience from the initial quote to the finished project. They ran with all of the hassle of permitting and HoA approvals, and the finished fence looks incredible! They took a lot of care in their craft and it shows!

I've never had any interaction with Index, prior to this. I had an appointment with Index, Cameron from the company came out to give me an estimate. He was very pleasant, had a great personality, and was even a few minutes early which I appreciated. The problem that I had is with the company's policy of a 60% deposit upon quote acceptance. When Cameron informed me of this, I stopped the estimate. I don't have a problem with putting down a deposit and do understand the need by a company to take a deposit and set a schedule, but 60% that's just ridiculous. A 60% deposit, to me is a red flag that the company needs my money to pay for the materials or doesn't have the credit necessary to do the work, not a company that I want to do business with.

Moving, and all the things that come with setting up a new home, can be TOUGH! Having Index Fence install a fence at my new home was the EASIEST! Everyone involved in this process was a pleasure to work with, from the owner to the crew that completed the build. They showed up on time, and completed the work more quickly than I thought possible. Not only was their work quick (and the worksite kept tidy) but the fence they built is a stunner. Everything is done WELL. I requested one small adjustment to a gate and they were also responsive to that request as well. Quick, professional, beautiful work AND excellent service AFTER the build??!!!! This company is a rare gem, one of the best service providers I've ever had, from any home build/repair company, EVER. Had a great experience working with Jason Feore and the rest of the team at Index Fence. Jason came out very shortly after my first call to Index, helped me understand the options, and then walked through the yard and came up with a good layout. The quotation was great and clear, and only change when we requested a different design (horizontal planks). The end product looks great, was expertly installed in a single day, and was a completely painless, high quality experience. Kudos to everyone involved from Jason to the back office to the installation crew!
